• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines
• Integrate and manage data from various sources into a centralized data lake
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for querying, transforming, and aggregating large datasets
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity
• Ensure efficient and optimized data workflows that align with business goals
• Design and manage Azure-based data storage solutions (e.g., Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage)
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with hands-on experience in cloud-based data solutions, preferably Azure
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for building and orchestrating data pipelines
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake for data storage and processing
• Knowledge with Azure Synapse Analytics for large-scale data warehousing and analytics
• Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering tasks such as automation and data transformations
• Knowledge with other data engineering tools such as Apache Kafka, Airflow, or Power BI
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, aggregation, and reporting
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Apache Spark for distributed data processing
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration
