Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will handle the Tax and Compliance Team. Also, he/she helps in establishing and implementing Taxes and Compliance Guidelines
• Ensures the team complies with company policies and procedures
• Reviews existing Taxes and Compliance and related processes and suggests improvements
• Ensures timely compliance to BIR, LGU, SEC and other concerned government agencies’ requirements
• Ensures correctness of taxes withheld and remitted
• Ensures taxes and licenses are filed and paid on time
• Provides schedules/documents to external and government auditors in coordination with the Controller and the Finance Director
• Maintains a database of all taxes filed and paid by the Group
• Leads preparation schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns
• Provides the supporting schedules for annual audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field
• At least 8 years’ relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting or similar field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and relevant software
