SMC Integrated Farm Specialist Inc. is a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation established in 2018.

SMC-IFSI is engaged in the management, operation, and maintenance of farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, fishpond, storage and various facilities and equipment for breeding, hatching, raising, growing, production, slaughter and / or processing of poultry. Fowls, hogs, livestock and other kinds of animals and foodstuffs and other activities allied or incidental thereto such as but not limited to animal feeds, nutrition, and healthcare.

Job description and minimum qualifications:

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR – Pangdan, Naga City Cebu

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Graduate of any 4-5 years course in BS Food Technology, Food Service Management, Engineering, and Business Management or a related field.
• Work Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in production and warehouse operational roles in a poultry processing (dressing) plant or in a related food company/industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, Corporate Environmental, Safety and Health Policy and Preventive Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of standards in poultry processing production, food safety, SAP controls, blasting, cold storages, inventory and variance managements.
• Above Communication skills both oral and written.
• Strict Adherence to quality inspection standards, findings, and dispositions.
• Highly mobile and/ or can travel anywhere in the country at any time.
• Results-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Description:

A QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR is responsible for ensuring that products meet established government, company, and customer quality standards before they are released to customers. They inspect, test, and evaluate materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications and act on them accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures the Product Standards and Specifications are strictly implemented in the operation.
• Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure, and Quality, and Food Safety System are implemented throughout the operation.
• Ensure orderliness, cleanliness and sanitation of Production facilities and its auxiliary facilities such Waste Water Treatment and Rendering Plants and upkeep.
• Demonstrates a high concern for the health and safety of self and others.
• Demonstrates commitment to Company Rules and Regulations.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of company goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
