Job Description:

The Platinum Group Metals Corporation (PGMC) is excited to announce the launch of our  Cadet Engineer Program, designed to cultivate the next generation of Mining Engineers and Geologists. This innovative initiative aims to equip young professionals with the essential skills needed for a successful career in nickel laterite mining operations. Over a 12-month period, cadets will gain hands-on experience across key areas, including Mining Operations, Grade Control, Mine Planning, Port Operations, and Environmental, Safety, and Health practices.

As part of the program, cadets will be immersed in the company's core values and culture, receiving mentorship and support for their professional development and personal growth. Following a thorough evaluation, cadets will be assigned to specific areas where they can thrive, aligning their skills and interests with company needs. The program's flexible structure allows for future adaptations to support various projects.

Objectives:

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• Must be a licensed professional with strong academic credentials:
  • No failing grades
  • No dropped subjects
• Motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic about pursuing a career with PGMC.
• Willingness to undergo further training as required.
