Position Summary

Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise data assets and the optimal technology supporting the data life cycle (i.e. pipeline architecture, data ingestion pipeline, data lake, data warehouse).

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Physics or related discipline/field or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years experience in data engineering for industrial plants or at least manufacturing plants
• Certification from a recognized institution or governing body

Competencies

• Experience in implementing Extract > Transform > Load (ETL) or Extract > Load > Transform (ELT) architectures
• Programming/Querying Skills - Ability to create / interpret an existing script in Python, R, or SQL.
• Cloud data warehouse development and deployment.
• Workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
• APIs and API architectures (RESTful, SOAP)
