Job Title: HR Generalist
Term: Full-time/Direct Hire
Schedule: 5:00PM to 2:00AM PHT, Monday to Friday (Fixed Weekends Off)
Location: Onsite in Makati
Job Description:
As an HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. Your responsibilities will include:
Working with the department lead and client to updating job descriptions for existing positions to provide job clarity and improve departmental structure.
Taking the lead in working with department manager and client to develop comprehensive job descriptions, and coordinate with the Recruiter to post them for open positions.
Collaborating with the department manager and clients to document employee role transitions and career paths.
Reviewing and managing employee timesheets and payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Collaborating with the department manager and the client to lead the annual employee review process, ensuring reviews are delivered in line with the anniversary of hire. Address employee goals and concerns during review discussions.
Conducting quarterly employee review discussions with department heads to track and document the performance of all employees within their respective departments.
Developing and implementing an effective employee retention strategy, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
Organizing team-building activities such as outings, retreats, events, and inviting motivational speakers to foster a cohesive and motivated work environment.
Building positive relationships with all employees and acting as the main point of contact for HR-related concerns through proactive employee outreach.
Conducting regular employee outreach, equipped with talking points for individual employees, and providing management with comprehensive reports on concerns or issues to be addressed.
Implementing and executing 6-month exit interviews for employees who have left the company, gathering valuable feedback and insights.
Attending monthly meetings with business to provide updates on the progress of HR processes.
Working with the department head and client as part of learning and development initiatives to identify skill gaps and training needs within teams, then designing and implementing training programs, workshops, and learning resources to enhance employee skills and professional growth.
Developing and executing internal communication strategies to keep employees informed about company news, updates, and changes, fostering transparency and alignment.
Acting as a mediator in resolving workplace conflicts or employee grievances, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
Supporting the organization through periods of change, such as restructuring or process changes, by communicating effectively, addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth transition for employees
Implementing HR analytics and reporting to gather and analyze relevant data, providing insights to guide strategic decision making related to workforce planning, engagement, turnover, and more.
Manage company social media accounts.
Qualifications:
Possess a strong background in timekeeping and payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Thorough understanding of benefits, employment laws, and HR policies, self-motivated to stay updated with industry best practices.
Demonstrated analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, enabling you to handle HR data and reports effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive employee information.
