SMC Integrated Farm Specialist Inc. is a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation established in 2018.

SMC-IFSI is engaged in the management, operation, and maintenance of farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, fishpond, storage and various facilities and equipment for breeding, hatching, raising, growing, production, slaughter and / or processing of poultry. Fowls, hogs, livestock and other kinds of animals and foodstuffs and other activities allied or incidental thereto such as but not limited to animal feeds, nutrition, and healthcare.

PROCESSING SUPERVISOR – Pangdan, Naga City Cebu

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Graduate of any 4 – 5 years course in BS Food Technology, Food Service Management, Engineering, and Business Management or a related field.
• Work Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in production and warehouse operational roles in a poultry processing (dressing) plant or in a related food company/industry.
• Skills and Knowledge:
• Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, Corporate Environmental, Safety and Health Policy and Preventive Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of standards in poultry processing production, food safety, SAP controls, blasting, cold storages, inventory and variance managements.
• Above Communication skills both oral and written.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective production line balancing and leadership skills.
• Highly mobile and/ or can travel anywhere in the country at any time.

Job Description:

The Processing Supervisor oversees daily poultry production volume targets, manning completions, equipment and tools efficiency, quality product and services, and government/institutional standard compliances, and safety and health and environment regulations with other departments to optimize productivity indexes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise manning and poultry processing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Monitor and enforce manning and poultry safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Train and coaching poultry processing workforce to improve efficiency and multi-skill development.
• Inspect dry raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance group for equipment and tools troubleshooting and upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Pass announce and unannounced internal and external audits.
• Maintain labor and industry relations conducive to workplace.
• Maintain production records and submit accurate periodic reports promptly for management review.
